20th Birthday Gift Haul!

Hi everyone!

So on the 17th August I turned 20…goodbye teenage years! And I always get such lovely cards and gifts and I just wanted to share with you what I got and where you can probably find them, or it may just inspire you to get some of these things yourself 🙂

spoilt

Before I get started, I just want to tell you a little about what I did for my birthday. So I had a meal out with some of my good friends, there were about 11 of us and we had some drinks and food at one of my favourite restaurants where my three courses were all free, and then a couple of us headed into town after for some drinks and some dancing

The next day my boyfriend and I met with my Nan and we did some shopping and she kindly took us for dinner and drinks which was lovely

On my actual birthday a couple days later my boyfriend, my sister and friend Kirsty and I visited Thorpe park which is my favourite theme park and we even got free tickets to return next year and a fast pass for any big ride. The weather was 26 degrees (celcius) and we had a nice little picnic in the shade. When we got home in the evening I opened my cards and gifts and I got surprised with a lovely chocolate cake! We also ate some yummy Chinese food and finished the night off with Joe relaxing together and we slept like babies after the long day of awesome roller coasters!

So let’s get into the haul 🙂

I got some lovely cards off all my friends and family, Joe always makes my cards from scratch by hand and they all have personal funny meanings.

My friend Lucy got me this lovely Soap and Glory bath set which includes a body bath, body scrub, a body mist and a cute little pink rubber ducky! My friend Katie got me this cute no 7 nail set which comes with two nail files, a lovely pink rose nail polish, lip gloss and mini make up bag 🙂

My friends Jacob and Rachel kindly bought me my drinks all night (winning) and Jacob got me the biggest cocktail I have probably ever seen and a sparkly cowgirl hat

My friend and flat mate Emily got me some fun and sparkly Rimmel nail polishes and the cutest horse card that pulls out and sings a song!

And my other friend Emily got me a very cute personalised card and a lovely Silve dainty bracelet which is so pretty

My Nan got me some of my favourite cocktail drinks in bottles, and some of my favourite chocolate including Toffifees and Peanut M&M’s. She also got me a very cute long shirt dress with collar with little sausage dogs on it! And to match she even got me these adorable dangly silver sausage dog earrings to match. She also got me some Soap and Glory body spray mist in the scent ‘Mist you madly’

She had also just come back from Scotland and gotten me some really cute gifts too which I thought I’d include. She got me this really cute Scottish tin of Chocolate shortbread cookies which were so delicious, and I love the tin that has little Scottish Soldier in bearskin hats. She also got me a matching mug because I love collecting mugs from different places and then this really pretty blue and silver beaded bracelet which I love

My sisters boyfriend/partner Scott bought me my birthday cake and treated me to Chinese food and picked out this funny but cool popcorn popper pan! Need to try that out real soon on the fire pit (please do ignore my stupid face on the image below!)

His parents also kindly sent me a card with some money inside and with it I bought these adorable cloud shelves for my new room in my new house at University and the super cute Cinderella Fairy Godmother Tsum Tsum

Joe got me a very cute Minnie Mouse reusable zip bag for all my gifts to go inside and he got me the rest of the Tsum Tsum beauty and the beast collection I needed and wanted! He also got me two more Tsum tsums from the Finding Dory collection I also wanted. I’m also crazy for anything Disney and having a million phone cases so he got me this gorgeous gold and baby blue Disney Animations phone case; it has sketches of Disney Princesses on the front actually sketched by Animators at Disney! So cool

He also got me the last Disney Lego mini figure I needed! Aladdin! They come in blind bags for £2.50 and I kept getting doubles of less rare characters and then everywhere stopped selling them! Now it’s complete 🙂 and it’s so cute because he took me to see Aladdin at the West End in London a few months ago

He also bought me such a gorgeous Pandora Charm called the open work galaxy charm with such beautiful cubic zirconi stones and is just so eye catching

Joes parents also got me the Sims 3 Seasons expansion game pack which I’ve been wanting for ages! It’s so fun! Love sims 3

sims3.jpg

My friend Kirsty got me my favorite drink EVER! A bottle of Martini Asti, I could glug it all day and she brought it in a really cute wine gift bag

Lastly moving onto my sister Kat who got me the most in terms of quantity (but of course they were all quality items!) We will start with the hand bag I had seen from Skinny Dip, it’s a lovely black roll top bag with gold metal hoop detailing and a faux suede flap finish. It also has a really cute pale blue dangling Tassle which adds just that bit of colour. It comes with a short handle and a longer one inside and has lots of pockets and room and is so stylish

bag skin.jpg

She also got me a purse we had both seen and liked for myself which is this folded pastel purple purse, it has a snap button and lots of space for cards and money and change and it goes lovely with the bag, especially the pastel Tassle to tie them together

In my new house at uni I don’t really have  much storage space in my bedroom and I have a lot of clothing and items etc so I had seen these cool wall Hexagon storage shelves and my sister kindly got me two of them; they will be perfect to stack my Tsum tsums inside and to display!

shelves

I also got a fancy Victoria Secret bag and inside was the perfume XO that I had been wanting to get for a very long time, I got it in the spray bottle rather than the perfume bottle because you got a lot more!

Kat also got me this really cute postcard style notepad which inside you can document where you’ve been on holiday with photos and messages etc which is really cute because I love making travel books and I just bought some Polaroid prints from my recent holiday to Portugal

I also received these yummy strawberry foam party sweets which I’m sure I will enjoy (and have to hide from Joe)

surpsie

A funny and random gift I got from her was this ‘Surprise Bag!’ from a shop we like called Tiger, and inside were just random little gifts that none of us knew about. Firstly there was this very random candle foil art kit where you can decorate your candles with different patterns and shapes made out a colourful foil (don’t ask)- everyone found that highly amusing

Inside was also a cute little patterned tape and a cute little toad stool pencil sharpener and rubber which will all come in handy for uni. It also came with glow sticks and a cute little pink notepad which will nicely fit into my hand bag

disney

And last but not least; she made me this incredibly cute Disney collage made up of photos of my family and I, mostly photos of myself I’ve secretly taken on kats phone which are very ugly. However there are some on there which I haven’t seen before or can’t even remember about but I love it and I love the Mickey Mouse shape and I just can’t wait to get it up on my wall!

It’s been a great birthday and I can’t wait for the next one! The Big 21! x

Chic Vs Street: Cheaper Fashion Alternatives

Hello Friends!

Fun fact; one of the first ever blog posts I did was a comparison piece about expensive pieces of clothing and where to find very similar alternatives for much less and I had fun doing it! So much so that I decided to do another! So here we go..

  1. Michael Kors Selma mini bag £260 Vs Forever 21 Faux Leather Trapeze Satchel £19

So straight away you can see the bags have a very similar shape, small and boxy with the triangular side parts. Both come in a variety of colours, and although the Forever 21 bag has a small strap, it also has a long strap, just as the Michael Kors one does. Of course the Forever 21 bag doesn’t have the Michael Kors name detailing but for the cash you’d be saving; engrave your own name!

Saving: £241

2. Fendi Bag Bug Charm £570 Vs New Look Faux Fur Piglet Pom Pom £3.99

Now, this is crazy to me. If I had the money to afford the Fendi bag charm, I would firstly NOT BE BUYING IT, and secondly I’d be able to fly to America for that. And to me, they are so ugly! These little monster pom poms are not cute, it’s true they have some cute plain pom poms, but I could probably do a years worth of food shopping with £570! And the one from New Look is so much cuter, it’s a little piglet! New Look and so many other shops have so many different little pom pom characters and for so cheap, and they do the same job- hang on your bag or keys!

Saving: £566.01

3. Anya Hindmarch Initial Letters £43 Vs SkinnyDip London Initial Letters £4

The trends of back pack stickers and badges have really made a come back, the Anya Hindmarch is selling initial stickers for between £43-£119. Why? Because once they are placed on a surface, there is no getting rid of it. I guess that is a good thing if you want something permanent and that won’t wear away, however you would have to know 100% where you want to place it as there’s no going back! The Skinny Dip letters are great for the back of your phone and can be taken off and reused and look just as cute!

Saving: £39

4. Kenzo ‘Mini Tiger’ Denim Dress £259 Versus New Look Parisian Denim Dress £24.99

The denim dress has been in fashion lately and can be used to dress up and dress down for a more casual look. The New Look dress is very similar to the Kenzo, the 3/4 sleeves and similar in colour, they also both button down, however the New Look dress shows off more of the buttons.

Saving: £234.01

5. MR AND MRS ITALY hooded Parka £5,099.05 Vs ASOS Noisy May Faux Parka £35

The only big difference here is the price! Unless you really want and need a Parka made out of lambskin and raccoon fur, then I guess the one of the left is for you.

Saving: £5,064.05

These are just a few examples that if you look around, you will not only find very similar items but it will cut your spending down not only by a margin, but by so much more! Now obviously anyone can buy what they would like, it’s personal preference, but it goes to show that most of the time you are paying for the name and it’s great to find cheaper alternatives if you’re looking to cut back on spending

Favorite Looks From Oscars 2016

Hello Everybody!

It seems about two minutes ago that I posted my favorite looks from Oscars 2015! It’s come around so quickly and it was an amazing get together of talent and of course; Leo’s big win for best actor (finally!)

I’m actually going to start with the men first, and this is because usually the women get all the attention from the lovely gowns they wear; but I think the guys deserve to be praised too. Sure, they only really wear a suit or tux, but it doesn’t mean they don’t look great!

Leonardo DiCaprio- Armani

leo osc.jpg

It’s the classic look that wins every time. Nothing more than a crisp white shirt, a black jacket and matching trousers. And of course the sharp bow tie. His hair was slicked across making him look like a perfect gentleman, finishing the outfit off with shiny Louboutin shoes. The look of a winner

Jared Leto- Gucci

jared osc.jpg

There’s something about his suit that makes it stand out from all the rest, but not in the ‘Look at me I’m different!’ kind of way. The suit outlined in red makes it pop, and the flower around the neck instead of a tie or bow really gives him a unique look and ties the red outline together. Very different to last years white tux I must say!

Ryan Gosling

gos.jpg

Another smart and sophisticated suit. Sporting a Gucci black shawl lapel one button Signoria tuxedo with a white evening shirt, white silk bowtie and black patent leather laceups. The white bow tie is a refreshing and different look. Very handsome indeed.

Michael Fassbender

fass.jpg

Again, with a very classic looking suit. However, the longer cut of the jacket and the lapel with quite a large fold over and a shinier finish gives it a different feel compared to the clean cut suit DiCaprio was wearing. The black buttons also tie in nicely, and the white pocket handkerchief.

Mark Ruffalo

He wore a smart navy blue Valentino jacket which gave his sophisticated look a pop of colour without being too much. It makes a difference from green…

Christian Bale-Dolce and Gabbana

88th Annual Academy Awards - Arrivals

It takes quite a manly-man to pull off all black. In my opinion anyway! I couldn’t see a more thinner, frail looking body wearing an all black ensemble. Especially with the shirt, the waistcoat and the jacket. He looked very clean cut and sophisticated, like a girl and her LBD.

Now let’s move onto the ladies! *wolf whistle*

Jennifer Lawrence- Dior Haute Couture

88th Annual Academy Awards - Arrivals

She never ceases to look good. Whether in her sweatpants running errands or in glitz and glam on the red carpets. Her Dior dress was stunning, a lot of skin showing and elegant lace, but no too revealing and over the top where you would feel uncomfortable looking at her. Her sleek blonde bob also suits her beautiful and her understated make up brings out her natural beauty

Charlize Theron- Dior Haute Couture

88th Annual Academy Awards - Arrivals

A favorite of mine last year with her yellow gown. And again this year with her sultry red Dior dress. It shows off her lovely to-die-for figure and the low cut v-neck and the long necklace make her outfit scream sexy yet elegant. Her hair up and fringe over to one side was gorgeous and didn’t take anything away from her outfit

Cate Blanchett -Armani Prive with Swarovski crystals

88th Annual Academy Awards - Arrivals

Another fantastic woman who looks fabulous. All. The. Time. Her sea foam green Armani dress embellished with Swarovski crystals fit her body like a glove. The flower details throughout the dress aren’t over the top and her soft blonde hair really complimented the dress

Brie Larson- Gucci

88th Annual Academy Awards - Arrivals

The colour of her gown was beautiful. A cobalt blue dress with ruffles that made her sway like the gorgeous ocean with every movement. The bodice of the dress was lighter making the dress look less heavy, and the large and very detailed silver chunky belt tied the two together. Her hair was simple and elegant showing off a purple lip.

Rachel McAdams-August Getty Atelier

US-OSCARS-ARRIVALS

Rachel dared to bare all in her emerald green backless dress and also showed off her tones legs through a high thigh slit. She looked simple yet ravishing as she sported sparkly drop ear rings, and mostly minimal make up, apart from a slightly darker eye which was sultry and smoky. The dress featured a long train and the green of her dress brought out the gorgeous hazel of her eyes

Well there you have it! My favorite looks from the Red Carpet 2016 88th Annual Oscar Awards. And even though there are plenty of other looks that were stunning, these are just a few I chose that jumped out at me specifically and personally

Let me know you’re favorite Oscar red carpet look!

19th Birthday and Gift Haul!

Hello everyone!

It’s been a crazy long but amazing couple of weeks! It was my 19th birthday on the 17th August and it’s finally time to sit down and have a rest before uni begins again!

image

On my actual birthday my sister, boyfriend and I had the day at Thorpe Park and it’s such a great theme park! Probably the best I’ve been to! There are so many big white knuckle thrilling rides- the weather was glorious too which made it even better

image

We had to get up at 6am and I was greeted by my sister bringing in a Frozen birthday cake with princess candles! (Yes, turned 19) Then we sat on the bed and opened gifts and I got some lovely things

image image

We were then off on the road to Thorpe Park and we packed a picnic to eat throughout the day- then driving back we stopped off at a food court that had selection galore!! We could choose from chinese, Indian, mexican, KFC, McDonald’s, Carvery, Starbucks- the lot! We ended up sitting altogether and sharing food and it was a nice end to the day

image

We got back around 10pm and we had been out the house for about 16 hours and I had to pack and get up early the next day to travel from Worcester to Birmingham- I got 8 free Krispy Kreme donuts and an Eds Easy Diner milkshake for free as a birthday complimentary gift and we saw Inside Out!

image

We then traveled back to Doncaster the next day we got ready for my birthday meal out to meet all my friends and boyfriend Joe- we went to a restaurant called Zest (my favorite place!) and I also got a 3 course meal for free and my friend even paid for my drinks!

image

It was lovely to see my friends who I haven’t seen for months, maybe even a year- they even put a candle in my pudding to sing happy birthday for me!

image

We then went to a few bars for cocktails and then went to an 60/70/80’s bar called Flares and ended up doing shots- even bacon flavoured ones which was disgusting! And ended the night at 2am on karaoke which was hilarious and photo booths!

image

Then I visited my nan and opened more presents and cards from friends and family

So I thought I would show you the lovely bits I got from family and friends 🙂 Aswell as the things I bought with birthday money

My sister got me these adorable Olaf jogging bottoms which are so comfortable! I love Olaf

image

She also got me this super cute vest which ties at the bottom and has a tropical print of birds and gardens- I wore it to thorpe park with some high waisted denim shorts and it looked so good

image

She got me this beautiful pink and white/off yellow underwear set (im a sucker for underwear) It’s hard to see the colour on the photo

image

She also got me one of these foundation make up egg sponges that everyone has been going crazy over and It works really well

image

She also got me a card with money inside and my adorable Frozen cake!

My boyfriend bought me a gorgeous Pandora Bangle along side this Rose Gold white daisy charm which is adorable! Absolutely in love

image image

He also got me some Tsum Tsums! Doc and Dopey from Snow White! 🙂 image image

I got money in my cards from my sisters parents in law and my boyfriends parents to which I bought the Nightmare Before Christmas Tsum Tsums with!

image

My nan bought me my entire birthday outfit; playsuit, shoes, bag and necklace which are all gorgeous!

birthday oot

I got a lovely bunch of gifts and cards from my friends too; I got this adorable friendship elephant bracelet and giant lush bath bomb that exploded with confetti

image image

I also got a big pack of marshmallows and roses chocolates (they are long gone)

Another friend got me this beautiful blue and silver necklace from Accesorize

image

I also got a really cute owl water bottle and this really cool cute hipster Pug that waves when it’s in the sunlight! Along side these adorable nail decors

image image image

Another friend also just visited Disneyland Orlando and brought me some adorable Mickey and Friends cookies back

image

With birthday money I bought these adorable Minnie and Mickey van like shoes- Vans were selling disney editions but we’re incredibly expensive but these are just as good- if not cuter

image

Victoria Secret PINK had a mini sale too! And I’m like a kid in a sweet shop for PINK stuff- I got this baby blue jumper with a hood and key hole back for £20.50 down from £40 and these yoga shorts down to £11

image image image

I was also running low on foundation so I decided to try the wake me up foundation as it was on sale for £5.99 from £8.99 and my sister recommends it as a good drug store product

image

Primark also had a sale on pyjamas and I needed some bed shorts as the warmer nights make it hard to sleep in full legs- I got this cute grey pair for £1 that say ‘pass me the popcorn’ which also matches a popcorn PJ top I already have!

image image

I also saw this Mickey Mouse American style oversized PJ top a while ago and kept going back to it, and im glad I left it as I found it again on the sale rail for £3!

image

I’ve started to organise my make up too and for Christmas from my sister I got a white wooden organiser stand. My Nan got me another one that has larger compartments for my perfumes

image image

I also got two more Alice in Wonderland Tsum Tsums; Queen of Hearts and the Mat Hatter

image

I still have a couple things to open from friends I haven’t seen yet but that sums up most of it! 🙂 It’s been another great birthday- last year of being a teenager too! Scary!

Happy Celebrations! x

Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation Review

Hi Guys!

It’s been a while since I reviewed anything beauty product related and since I bought a new foundation to try lately; I thought this would be the perfect opportunity! 🙂

I was running low on foundation and the one I’ve been using lately wasn’t really working for me; I have combination skin, and although it wasn’t making me so oily as some foundations do; It was definitely drying out my skin and showing off all the cracks and crust I guess! Even after giving my face a really good wash with a face scrub

image

I was going to get my normal Rimmel 25 hour foundation that works alright for me, but I saw that in Boots they had the Rimmel Wake Me Up reduced for a limited time for £5.99 from £8.99 which is cheaper than what I usually spend and my sister has used it previously alongside the wake me up concealer so I thought I can’t go wrong and especially for so cheap

Aesthetically it’s rather pleasing. Usually my foundation bottles have boring drab coloured lids but the Orange on this bottle and the square shape is different and I like it

image

image

The first thing I noticed was coverage is good from just a small amount. I don’t have the clearest of skin and it does take a whole cake layer to cover it. As you can see on my hand, you can hardly tell I have foundation on and the colour is true to my skin tone

Its very light too, some foundations feel heavy and especially the dream matte mousse I’ve been using would sit into my creases on my face, especially my eye lids from blinking or under my eyes and cheeks from laughing or just facial movement in general. Compared to my matte mousse foundation, it doesn’t dry out your skin through the day of wearing it or leave your skin flakey which is a good thing

It also does brighten the face rather well, very illuminating. It also has a shimmer to it, not sparkly and glittery to the point you can see it when you move your head, but I have noticed that when I touch my face I sometimes have glittery fingers which can be annoying, but again it’s just a slight shimmer and it’s not grainy or rough so don’t let that put you off

image

I’ve been using it for nearly a couple of weeks now and I really do like it and would purchase it again. I’ve been using it with my new egg sponge too and it transfers easily and blends well

It is slightly oily after a while- but not so oily that I look shiny or it runs off or feels gross, more of a dewy look but I feel with the egg sponge it’s not as bad as some reviews say. It also has SPF15 which is good for those sunnier days, which may also be the reason why it’s more dewy as sun creams are very wet and oily

It also has vitamin C which is great for the skin

image

There aren’t many shades, no. But luckily I found one perfect for me which is 100 Ivory- some people may be inbetween and might want to use a foundation that has a wider range of shades but you could always blend it with a concealer you may have or buy two shades and mix

Here is a quick before and after; I didn’t put loads on like I would if I were going out but it’s enough for light coverage (and prepare your eyes for the before photo!)

Before: Very red and spotty!

image

After: Less redness and more even skin tone

image

I would recommend this foundation to everyone and to especially try it now whilst it’s on offer and especially if they have your shade. I will also be testing out the matching Wake me up concealer as well to really brighten up my under eye area so I’ll let you know how that goes!

Happy Beauty! x

Birthday OOTD!

Happy Friday Guys!

It was my birthday on the 17th and I did a post before about my outfit I would be wearing; so here it is! I loved it and was so comfortable all night

image

I had an amazing birthday and I’ll be posting about my plans and gifts shortly!

X

Early Birthday Outfit/Gifts!!

Hello Friends! 🙂

It’s edging closer and closer to my Birthday and I was worried about what to wear! Last year I ended up with a black peplum dress and Kurt Geiger heels from my sister as a well done for my A Level results and getting into Uni (results day was the day before my 18th!)

So this year I wanted to look just as nice and I ended up buying the yellow and white dress I posted about a few days ago (here’s a link to that post below!)

It was all yellow

I loved it, I still do… but now my Nan has come back from her holiday, she bought me a very beautiful white laced playsuit which is gorgeous. And I just knew this was what I was going to rock up to my birthday celebrations in for sure!

This is the completed outfit and I’ll break down each piece 🙂

birthday oot

So luckily, I got free delivery on the dress and it’s free returns and they’re pretty quick and good about that. I then realised I had even less time to sort out an outfit, but today (29th) my Nan and I headed into town before I caught my train back home to my sisters and she so kindly paid for my shoes, my necklace and my clutch bag which was the entire outfit, and she also bought me the playsuit so it’s all thanks to her!

shoess

These shoes I saw and was drawn to then straight away, Primark didn’t have much selection but luckily they had three pairs left, and two in my size and were also wide fit! Which I need cos I have hecka wide feet

They’re white on the bottom and on the heels with nude/pink straps and they’re so comfortable! They give me height without being too high, and they’re really easy to walk around in, not like some stilettos. They were priced £14 but at the checkout they came up as £6! A mistake? Maybe.  Complaining? Nope!

So then I had my shoes and my playsuit sorted. Next I wanted to find a clutch. Now I knew my Nan was going to get me the shoes but she kindly offered for this too. I wanted BIG! I’m forever holding tiny clutches that hold nothing but some cash, when a girl actually needs cash, keys, phone and half her make up stuffed in there!

clutch

I decided on a pop of colour and I thought Pink would do the trick nicely. I found this very large and beautiful pink clutch that also has a chain. I like the statement of the gold webbed design on the point too and this was £8 and big enough for all the goodies (crap) I need in it

I then wanted something to draw a little attention to my outfit so I thought a statement chunky necklace would work but unfortunately Primark didn’t have many and not in the colours I wanted

neck

I thought gold and pink would work well to tie in the pink clutch with it’s gold trimmings. I looked in a few shops but no luck until I looked in New Look and I was spoilt for choice! I actually decided on this beautiful statement (but not TOO chunky) necklace that almost look like little hand fans. The base is gold, and also has white, nude pink and silver which matches my outfit colour scheme perfectly and was only £7.99! And even better as I got 10% student discount off

I thought ear rings should be subtle, and I’m either going to choose some white pearl studs or peach/pink octagons that I too also have

She even treated me to a milkshake!

This outfit will be to wear two days after my birthday to my celebratory meal with all my friends at my favorite restaurant and then for cocktails after! My actual birthday I’m visiting Thorpe Park and then lunch with my Nan!

I will do an OOTD when I’m all done up and ready to go so you guys can see! 🙂

Happy Birthday! x

And It Was All Yellow

🙂

June Favorites and Most Used!

Hey guys!

Long time no post, kinda lost inspiration to be honest, that and also being rather busy 🙂

But one thing I can count on the write about is my monthly favorites post! As well as things I’ve used a lot this month. I’m going to start with my beautiful bouquet of flowers and heart balloon I had delivered to my door from my lovely boyfriend this month 🙂

This gorgeous White summer dress I got for my holiday to Malta and now can’t stop wearing! So refreshing and goes well with a tan and it was £5! Bargain

Palm tree bag- I think this was in my last months favorites but I’ve been using it daily and it’s so cute and I get so many compliments!

PINK undies! The comfiest pairs of undies I wear and always the first I go to when changing or getting dressed and they’re super cute too

These high waist side banded bikini bottoms are my favorite! They’re so flattering on the stomach (if you know what I mean) and the sides are different to others I’ve seen! I wore them a lot in Malta with my ‘Beach please’ bikini top

bot

Joes Go-Pro has also been a favorite as we went snorkeling and got to capture some fish and jelly fish and even our speed boat ride! His Nikon D3300 was amazing for shots too

d3 hero2

My big white bag is also a favorite- for every month actually. But I always forget to mention it. I got it for my hand luggage in Paris last year in TKMaxx and it was £14.99 I believe, it’s this cute big white woven kind of material with brown leather trim and handles and it carries SO much stuff and I use it when I’m travelling, going on holiday, for the beach- anywhere!

white

This Malta photo frame I got from the Blue Grotto is also a favorite as I plan to put a photograph inside and it’s a lovely keepsake

fr

And of course; Malta is my definitely TOP favorite of June! We were there for 5 days of June and it was such an amazing experience with an incredible human being by my side! I miss it so much

lagoon3sea2

My last favorites are food items! I loved these Crik Crok crisps we found in Malta that reminded me of a pringles tube but the crisps were smaller and crispier- the paprika flavour was amazing! I also love tuc cheese biscuits and I found BACON FLAVOUR! They were so damn tasty

crkbacon

My next favorite is my Pandora Palm tree charm I also got from Malta to commemorate the trip- It’s so pretty and sentimental

palm

So they are my favorites for last month!

Beautiful Butterfly Houses- OOTD

Hi Guys!

Yesterday was the letter ‘G’ for our alphabetic dating and it was my turn to plan the date! We did it over a range of three days in Birmingham including the Gallery and Museum, Good Grub, Glazed Krispy Kreme Donuts, Botanical Gardens and Glass houses and a film! (classed it as ‘Giant screen’)

The botanical gardens and glasshouses were beautiful! The day was so warm and glorious too. I thought I would share some photos Joe snapped and also my OOTD!

My dress is from topshop, the brown belt from Missguided and sandals from forever 21. My sunglasses are also forever 21 and my handbag Urban Outfitters. I’m also wearing my Pandora daisy ring

Mini Victoria Secret/PINK Haul!

Hi Guys!

On Tuesday my boyfriend and I were in Birmingham and did some shopping in Bullring shopping centre and Victoria Secret/PINK had their semi annual sale on and went from 50% off to 75%!

I got 8 items in total and it should’ve cost me around £140 for them all but I got it all for around £33!

I already love the PINK 5 for £20 underwear and they had them for £3 each and I got a cute multicoloured pair, a blue pair that say ‘no basic beaches’ and a tie dye pair- im loving all the beach puns latelyimage

I picked up this orange vest that also said ‘No basic beaches’ as well that was only £6 down from around £20 and great for when im working out or casual/out walking

basic

Also got this white and green sequin vest top which was down to £4/£5 from £24/25

I only found 2 left of these last minute; I saw them in the beginning of June for £29.90 and liked them as they looked like cheerleading dresses and I found it today for £8!! Plain black with green leaves on the side of the waist which I think adds a nice touch

Found this hot pink silicone spike case in the sale from £20 to £5 and I like the pink with my yellow phone

This vest I keep swaying back and forth to liking now I’ve got it but it was £4 down from £18 and it’s just a basic stripy black and white with a little pocket

I did go back in later on and found amazing more items for so cheap but being a poor student isn’t easy.. 😭

So that is my little VS PINK haul! I am going back there next week so maybe I can grab one last bargain 😉

Tails Tuesday! Disney The Little Mermaid Nail Art

Hello on this fine Tuesday!

I had a little bit of inspiration today from Sandra Lewrey’s blog ‘Finger Candy’ when she did an Ariel inspired nail post

There was no way I could do the fancy shells and the amazing Ariel but I gave it a go and put my own spin on it!

I managed to finally do a half decent Ariel that didn’t look like a demon Ronald McDonald.. and on my forefinger I did a soft green tail end of you will, with pink sparkle nail polish for the scales

image

My middle finger I did a nude/pink base with two white dots to look like pearls

image

My ring finger I did the same nude base and just clear and silver sparkles on top

image

And for the pinky I did the same as my fore finger

It’s a very pretty and very Disney girly design and it’s super cute! All I used were nail polish, small thin nail brushes and a dotting tool
